Turkish Data Protection Authority - Administrative Fine Amounts for 2023

As it is known, under Article 18 titled "Misdemeanors" of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, various administrative fines are stipulated for data controllers.

These administrative fines have been updated according to the "revaluation rate" announced for 2023. Pursuant to Article 298 of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213, the revaluation rate was published in the Official Gazette dated 24.11.2022 and numbered 32023. Accordingly, the revaluation rate was determined as 122.93% for the year 2023.
