Turkish Data Protection Authority: Authorization of Google's Application for a Letter of Undertaking Regarding the Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

The Personal Data Protection Authority ("Authority") published an announcement titled "Regarding the Letter of Undertaking Application" on September 1, 2023. 

In the announcement, it was stated that the application for the Letter of Undertaking to transfer personal data abroad by Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Limited Şirketi was evaluated by the Personal Data Protection Board ("Board") within the scope of subparagraph (b) of paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and that the Board authorized the said data transfer on 17.08.2023.
