THE COMMUNIQUE ON THE PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES REGARDING THE FEES RECEIVED FROM THE COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS BY THE BANKS

“The Communique on the Principles and Procedures regarding the Fees received from the Commercial Customers by the Banks” (“the Communique”) has been published today on the Official Gazette numbered 31035.

In this sense, the banks shall share the current information about the maximum fees in their websites. In the case of changes on the information herein, they shall update the information, giving the date of changes. Also, the banks cannot receive the fees of the notification without the consent of the financial customers.

The banks shall accept the demand of early payment by the customers however they can require the fee for such demands.

Under article 15 of the Communique, the fee for electronic fund transfer cannot be exceeded 1 Turkish Lira where the value of the transaction is under 1000 Turkish Liras, and the transaction is made through the mobile banking or internet banking. In the transactions made through ATM, the fees herein cannot be exceeded 2 Turkish Liras.
