ENFORCEMENT AND BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS STOPPED BY THE PRESIDENTIAL DECISION

Within the scope of the measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak, the “Presidential Decision on Stopping Enforcement and Bankruptcy Proceedings” published on the Official Gazette dated 22.03.2020 and numbered 31076. With this decision, according to article 330 of the Law on Enforcement and Bankruptcy No. 2004, titled the suspension of enforcement proceedings, until 30 April 2020, it has been decided to;
- stop all enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings carried out throughout the country;
- stop all the follow-up proceedings and executions;
- not to accept execution proceedings requests for enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings;
- not to enforce or execute injunctional lien decisions.
Execution proceedings regarding alimony receivables are exempted from this decision.
