Hatice Zümbül works as a lawyer since 2011. She has experience in the fields of Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Contracts Law, Intellectual Property Law, Consumer Law, Information Technology Law, Internet Law, Data Protection & Privacy Law and Media Law.

Hatice graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 2010 with a degree in magna cum laude. She received her LL.M. degree in about "Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law" at Institute for Legal Informatics which is Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany. Her thesis topic is “Responsibility of Internet Service Providers for Third Party Brand Infringements and Copyright Infringements”. She also holds a master's degree in information and communication technologies with intellectual property at the University of Kathoelieke Leuven, Belgium.

Currently, Hatice continues her postgraduate studies in Private Law at Istanbul University and she is continuing her master thesis on  "Transfer of Personal Data Abroad”.

She has conducted more than 30 compliance projects in the field of personal data protection, has participated in numerous conferences on intellectual property, commercial law and protection of personal data as a speaker, has written articles and provided trainings.

She is a columnist for Dünya Newspaper. She speaks English and German at an advanced level and French at a basic level. She is also a sworn translator of Turkish - English and Turkish - German languages.

She has trademark and patent attorneyship certificates at Turkish Patent and Trademark Authority.
